Grâce présidentielle

Dans un communiqué rendu public ce dimanche 10 janvier, La Fondation Congolaise pour la promotion des Droits humains et Paix qui a suivi avec une particulière attention la libération des plusieurs prisonniers bénéficiaires de la grâce présidentielle relative à la décrispation politique en prend acte.

Cependant, elle salue la libération de ceux  condamnés injustement dans le procès tant décrié de l'assassinat de l'ancien Président de la République Laurent Désiré KABILA.

La  (FOCDP) exprime, par ailleurs  ses  inquiétudes sur la libération des personnes non éligibles à cette mesure.
Elle fait savoir que la libération prématurée des personnes poursuivies pour corruption et détournement de fonds publics constitue "un recul regrettable dans la lutte contre la corruption, pourtant une priorité dans le programme quinquennal du chef de l'État."


Ainsi la FOCDP fustige une justice à double vitesse, car pendant que certains se réjouissent d'avoir bénéficié   de la grâce présidentielle à Kinshasa, d'autres croupissent dans la prison de Shabunda au Sud-Kivu depuis plusieurs années sans avoir été jugé par manque des juges et des tribunaux compétents pour examiner leurs cas respectifs.

En outre, la FOCDP par l'entremise de son coordonnateur zone EST,Daniel ZENDABILA recommande, en guise de conclusion, la remise en détention des personnes non éligibles à la mesure de grâce présidentielle, d'une part, et plaide en faveur  l'organisation  sans délai des procès  en chambres foraines pour les détenus de la prison de Shabunda en vue de leur permettre d'être fixés sur leur sort.
